31m - 21.8m fees doesn't equal 19.2m net spend.

19.24m - 18.77m doesn't equal 3m rise in wages.

Good news is there is plenty of money for the next manager to spend in January, to keep us up.

Even with this spin through their favourite mouth organ the owners have still kept about £100m of this year's TV money .....

Re: Transfer spending explained in detail.
Oh, the 31m should read 41m (25m + 16m). Not sure about the wages.

Re: Transfer spending explained in detail.
Let see the cost of relegation then Hugh - you pissed cunt, go ask that

They have bought inadequately, paid excessively and after all that twaddle claim a net spend, with the Terry Brown calculater found in a desk, a £19m spend - well get this fucking Bournmouth spent more on a Chelsea reserve and that excludes his wages

That is the level we are at - second division where we are heading

Re: Transfer spending explained in detail.
What about the other 8 players who have left or gone out on loan? They weren't first team but at the same time they would have been drawing down a wage

A "net spend" of Britt Assombalonga + change.

Top bombing.

Re: Transfer spending explained in detail.
Those figures are pretty much exactly what everyone's been reporting/speculating, so confirming them is hardly a defence of the club's spending policy.

Still, 10 minutes to go before the window shuts. Fingers crossed...

Re: Transfer spending explained in detail.
Was here not a loan fee for hart as well? If so, just makes that deal all the more ludicrous

As does the sale of feghouli - we for duck all for our players according to this

Strange how all the outgoing g deals were less than stated but the incoming ones weren't - are you seriously trying to tell me that the arnautovic deal doesn't include any add on what we won't ever pay?

What a load of spinning shite

Re: Transfer spending explained in detail.
Interesting figures - seem genuine. Missing the signing fees for Zabaleta and Hart, but I can understand why the club wouldn't want to reveal those.

I'd like to know what happened with that dispute with Feghouli - did we pay up on the £3m or not?

100 per week on a keeper that wasn't a priority is dereliction of duty..

So one in one out is it?

Snodgrass and feghouli gone and no one in.

And sakho may as well have.

It looks to me they don't want to give bilic anymore money to spend because they likely will get rid soon

Perfect for them the pair of fucking delboy cunts.

Net spend of £9.2m and a wage increase of £9k per week?

Re: Transfer spending explained in detail.
I find it hard to believe that the Arnie transfer was a straight 25. A common theme is over stating the money we pay out whilst talking down the money that we receive.
